Let’s all take a moment today to remember the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor that led the US into World War II. On Dec. 7, 1941, the Imperial Japanese Navy led a surprise attack against the U.S. naval base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, U.S. A total of 353 Japanese fighter planes attacked and destroyed eight U.S. navy battleships, 188 U.S. aircraft and killed 2,403 Americans, leaving 1,178 wounded.
