Although March 8, International Women’s Day, the day that celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievement of women, has passed, we would be remiss in failing to acknowledge the achievements of our own founders, Polly Cordell, Mary Eason, and Joan Borders. These three women joined forces to develop an organization whose focus is family literacy, helping children become stronger readers who love to read. Thanks to their vision and dedication, Rolling Readers Space Coast has been providing its children’s literacy programs in Brevard County for twenty years and impacted the lives of 105,855 students, and their families, during that time, and continues to make an impact today!
